To the prelude of the driving culture season 2023 also the well-known and popular vehicle academy Schweinfurt is again in Stuttgart with the party: The first address, if it concerns professional knowledge transfer approximately around work at the old timer. "Here with us in the enterprise there is unfortunately nobody more, which knows itself with the old things" - this sentence heard already many lovers of classical old and Youngtimer, if it applied to let repairs be executed at selbigen vehicles. This is precisely where the Schweinfurt Vehicle Academy has been coming in for years, offering targeted seminars both for the next generation of car mechanics and for private individuals, e.g. on how to handle and repair contact ignition systems, how to adjust valve clearance, how to make body parts on a roller stretching machine and how to repair worn seats. These were tasks that were commonplace until the 1970s and 1980s, but then threatened to become obsolete. The seminars, some of which last several days, help to maintain knowledge, pass it on and thus build up a professional next generation in the long term, so that classic cars of all model years can continue to do what they were built for, together with their drivers: Driving!
