RETRO CLASSICS® is famous for its unique special shows and auctions which are well worth seeing. And for historic and classic car enthusiasts they rank among the highlights of the year.

Museo Panini & Stanguellini - Automotive history from Modena

At the RETRO CLASSICS 2017® the Museo Panini presents various historic Maserati models owned by founder and passionate collector of classic cars Umberto Panini. The Museo Panini belongs to the best known historic museums in Italy. With over three dozen vehicles and more than 20 Maseratis, it offers a unique collection.

Amongst Paninis cars there are among others the Maserati A6GCS 53 Berlinetta from Pinin Farina and a Maserati Tipo 61 and Tipo 63.

Furthermore at the RETRO CLASSICS®  2017 you will find several Models of the italian race car manufacturer Stanguellini, coming from Modena like Maserati and Panini.

 

 

Passione Italiana - where everything is Italian.

New: Passione Italiana in Hall C2

Art, cookery, design, beautiful singing, fashion and the many charms of the Mediterranean immediately make us think of Italy. If we then add names like Ferrari, Maserati, Stanguellini and those of other racing cars, our sensation of joy in Italian products hits the roof! Breathtaking forms, dynamic engines and heaps of charisma: Italian cars cannot but pluck at our heartstrings.

The special show staged in the atrium will feature rare Italian models which cannot be missed. The show will also feature objects from the Umberto Panini Motor Museum Collection and that of the Stanguellini Museum, not to mention a foretaste of the major novelty of this edition: ‘Passione Italiana’ in Pavilion C2.

A whole Pavilion given over to Italian classic car and motorcycle dealers, restorers, automobilia, master craftsmen, with a dash of Italian flavor and style. The very best of historic Italian motoring. Organized in collaboration with Vision Up Ltd. of Modena.

 

 

Motorsport history at RETRO CLASSICS® (Hall 5)

The fascination motorsport becomes alive. The exhibition of cars from race driver legend Roland Asch in hall 5 makes the hearts of motorsport fans leap for joy. Since the 1970s Roland Asch is doing motorsport and driving in series like touring, slalom and hill races. 1993 Asch became runner-up the second time on the Mercedes AMG racing touring car 190 E. We are glad to offer a spüecial piece of motor sport history to our visitors.

 

  

Dr. Mechanik: A Bike arises (Hall 5) 

 

Experience, how a masterpiece on 2 wheels arises. At the special show, Dr. Mechanik grants an exclusive insight on how such a exhibit emerges. From the first design drafts to plate processing you can experience everything at the stand.

The highlight oft he show for sure will be the live contruction of a motor bike,  that can be purchased on site.

 

Historic Bikes with British Accent (Hall 8)

2017 again, we are happy to welcome the „Allgemeiner Motorradsport-Club Leonberg e.V.“ at the RETRO CLASSICS with a new theme on the subject of motorbikes.

After the successful special show of Laverda on the 16th RETRO CLASSICS, when Mr. Laverda himself was present, the AMSC-Leonberg this time presents everything around english motorbikes.

From classic motorbikes to historic biking apparel and unique especially constructed replicas, you will find everything. Special attention lies on a self-built dragster-bike and a unique replica from the brand Norton.

You are welcome to find out, which other jewels from the land oft he queen are presented by the AMSC-Leonberg.

    

European local traffic busses from Germany, Austria, Switzerland and France (Hall 8)

The „Nutzfahrzeug Veteranen gemeinschaft e. V. (NVG) was founded in 1996 as consolidation of owners and friends of historic utility cars and possesses a significant number of historic cars of all kind.

At the special show, you will be able to experience a journey through time in the development of local traffic busses from 1950 to 1995.
